Hurricane Helene Update: American IRA Operations Resuming

As we continue to navigate the ongoing effects of Hurricane Helene, we want to provide you with the latest updates regarding our operations here at American IRA.

We are pleased to announce that our physical office has gradually begun to restore operations as of 9 A.M. on October 7th, 2024. Our team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition back to full functionality, but please be aware that we are conducting evaluations concerning utilities, infrastructure, and staffing capabilities.

Processing Transactions

We are actively processing all distributions, payments, and transactionsincluding purchases and sales of assetsin the order they were received during our office closure. We kindly ask for your patience as we work through these requests. Due to the current circumstances, we will not be approving any rush transaction at this time. Please allocate extra time for the completion of any new transaction submissions.

For those with new account applications or transfers from existing custodians, rest assured that these are being processed concurrently with other transactions.

Infrastructure Challenges

As we resume operations, we are facing challenges with power and cell service, which remain intermittent in various areas. Additionally, many downtown and outlying areas are still without running water, which is also impacting our office facilities. Unfortunately, this means we currently do not have public restroom access. If you plan to visit us, please make arrangements accordingly.

The Warmth of Appreciation

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the many caring messages we have received from you during this time. Your support and understanding mean a great deal to us as we work diligently to restore our services and meet your needs.

We appreciate your continued fortitude and patience as we navigate these challenges together. Please feel free  to reach out at 866-7500-IRA(472) or email us at [email protected] if you have any questions or concernswe’re here to help!
